Fall is in the air today in the Pacific Northwest. A perfect day to meander on our property enjoying the cooler air nature’s beauty. Yesterday we again were reminded why the street is named coyote. In mid afternoon the fire sirens blasted down the main street and oh my did the coyotes howl. There is a traveling den in the neighborhood. They're back on the wetland property behind our fence. So close that the dogs are not happy, doing their own howling and barking. It is a bit unnerving listening to the howling sounds in mid afternoon. It has inspired me to work on finishing my wolf wildlife painting started a while ago. Today’s art of an Arabian horse abstract style commission painting has taken may forms. I like the earth tones of this painting.

Kito and Angel

It is so funny. Every time Kito (Rhodesian Ridgeback) sees Angel on the other side of the fence she charges the fence barking. Angle just stands there and when they meet at the fence they smell and go their merry ways.

Abstract Arabian Horse Oil Painting

Just a little food for thought from my readings from last night.

In Level 3, we start with a vision of what we want to create. From there we choose our models. Sometimes a chosen model may seem insane to the other inhabitants of the little patch of space-time we happen to occupy. No matter. Men with a vision of goodwill have often looked insane in times of mistrust and scarcity. But in Level 3, we realize that the universe is not a maze to be navigated; it is a baby to be brought up. When we give it love, clarity, and opportunity, we raise a child to be a joyful, giving, successful adult. This is the opportunity we have to farm our little patch of space-time.

I'll list more information about the painting later on this blog.
Thanks for viewing.
